With what’s happening in our world with the toilet paper craze, some of us are buying wipes. We urge you to please not throw wipes in your toilets. Some products advertise that they’re wipe is flushable but SAWS has stated not to flush them and our pipes are not equipped for that kind of debris to flow through our pipes properly and will clog your home. If wipes are the source of your pipes clogging a fine will be implemented.
Dog Run Reminder
Dog Park:
1. Please do not leave your pet unattended inside the dog run.
2. Leaving dog feces is against city law. Anyone who is caught allowing their pet to defecate and not picking it up will be fined. Disposal stations are located at each end of the dog park for your convenience.
3. If your dog has aggressive tendencies please do not allow it to run free when other dogs are present.
Enchanted Village is not responsible for the actions of any pets. All pet owners are responsible for the actions of their pets.
For the safety of your pet and others, please be sure your pets’ shots are current prior to allowing them to run free with other pets in the dog park.
Reminder About Pets
As stated in the Enchanted Village Handbook, dogs are allowed in common areas on a leash only and never running loose. A dog run/gated area is provided in front of the clubhouse where dogs may run unleashed. Pet owners must stay with pets in the dog run. We are having problems with pet owners allowing their pets run loose in our community. Please do not allow this. If you need more information about your pets and what’s allowed please read below the rules on pets free of restraint, provided from www.sanantonio.gov.
It’s come to our attention that dog waste was left on the sidewalks and stepped on because it’s not getting picked up properly by it’s owner. Please pick up after your pooch and keep our community clean!

SAWS Watering Restrictions
NOTICE: Watering outside of San Antonio water restrictions will result in a fine for the Association, and may result in an additional fine from the city.
Year-round watering rules are in effect when the City of San Antonio is NOT under any specific drought restrictions.
· Under year-round watering rules, all fountains – whether commercial or residential ( indoor or outdoor) are allowed.
· Landscape watering with an irrigation system or sprinkler is permitted any day of the week before 11 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
· Hand watering with a hand-held hose, drip irrigation, soaker hose or bucket is permitted any time of day.
· Washing impervious cover such as parking lots, driveways, streets or sidewalks is permitted without runoff to avoid water waste.
· Water waste is prohibited at all times. Allowing water to run off into a gutter, ditch, or drain or failing to repair a controllable leak is considered water waste.
· Residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural Edwards Aquifer water users should use common sense and best practices to avoid water waste.
· The use of commercial vehicle wash facilities is permitted any day.
The year-round watering rules remain in effect until the rolling 10-day average of the aquifer drops to 660 feet and the City Manager in consultation with SAWS declares a drought stage. For more information or future reference go to: https://www.saws.org/conservation/drought-restrictions/year-round-watering-rules/
We apologize for the delay in watering. We had some issues with our irrigation system that had to be repaired. The sprinklers will run as schedule next Monday and Tuesday. You may hand water any time or run your own sprinkler between 7pm & 11am. NO WATERING IS ALLOWED BETWEEN 11am & 7pm. Please understand, our water bill is one of our largest monthly bills. Running the irrigation system adds $1000 weekly to the water bill. Please do not abuse water use to avoid an unnecessary raise in assessments.

AirBnB's Not Allowed
It has come to the attention of the EVTCA Board of Managers that some Enchanted Village properties may have been rented out as an Airbnb. This was discussed as a community prior to the April Executive Board Meeting. The community members who were present voted unanimously against allowing properties to be utilized as short-term rentals. The Board of Managers voted with the community on this item and further decided that no tenants will be allowed to rent for an initial term shorter than 6 months. Additionally, according to the Bylaws, no unit shall be rented to third-parties without the consent of the Board.
Important points herein:
1) Airbnb’s are not allowed within the Enchanted Village community. Please read your Bylaws for details, section F.4.1.
2) No property rental is allowed without an initial 6 month lease.
If you have any questions in this regard please contact the Management Office @ 210.592.9520.
